The Boeing Company is seeking an Industrial Security Manager to support the Enterprise Classified Security Services Enterprise PERSEC Center in Mesa, Arizona

The position requires strong leadership skills, organizational skills, and partnership with government customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads employees performing activities to protect information from unauthorized disclosure, including security inquiries, compliance assessments and implementation of security controls

  • Helps develop, lead and implements processes related to clearance processing

  • Works with Enterprise Teams to ensure Boeing processes are compliant with government policy

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

  • Develops project or operational plans aligned to department's objectives

  • Implements plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved

  • Assigns authority and responsibilities to employees to implement the plan

  • Reviews plans' execution, makes appropriate adjustments, and resolves issues

  • Supervises appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan

  • Provides ongoing developmental feedback

  • Recognizes contributions of individuals and teams to improve employee satisfaction and retain a skilled and motivated workforce

  • Develops work group, project or operational goals, objectives and related metrics to ensure alignment with Company vision/strategy

  • Measures progress, making adjustments as needed

  • Holds direct reports accountable for achieving goals

  • Achieves goals for efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction

  • Provides technical direction and mentorship to others regarding approved processes, tools, technology and skills for own projects or processes

  • Ensures work group products or processes meet customer, company, quality, industry and regulatory requirements

  • Provides approval of work group technical approaches, products and processes

  • Attends and collaborates with industry and government forums regarding System of Record updates and transitions ensuring Boeing is positioned for success

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years

  • 5+ years of experience with personnel security

  • 5+ years of experience working with Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and other industrial security databases  

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading various teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

  • 3+ years of Project Management experience

  • 3+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives

  • 3+ years of experience communicating with internal and external customers

  • Experience in multiple security roles including: Facility Security Officer, Contractor Program Security Officer, Contractor Special Security Officer

Summary pay range: $111,350 - $150,650
