Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Inventory Modeling Tech Specialist (Entry Level, or Associate) to join their team in Mesa, AZ.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry-Level, or Associate Level Inventory Modeling Tech Specialists.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs or maintains routine inventory procedures, assists in analyzing postproduction supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities.

  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving

  • Champions culture of quality, learning, trust, and collaborative energy

  • Assess performance of models and analysis and confirm that business objectives were met

  • Adaptable, able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment

  • Builds and manages data sets/modeling records to run models and simulations

  • Identify process and system improvements and support business decisions

  • Gathers, cleans and verifies accuracy, and analyzes data to develop and manage multiple data sets

  • Run demand forecasting, strategic optimization, initial spares models and logistics simulations on complex projects

  • Analyzes, manipulates, updates and optimizes models

  • Uses models to estimate resource needs

  • Uses tools, models and simulations to identify process and system improvements

  • Assesses supply chain practices to improve cost and cycle time

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Data analytics

  • Experience using or applying statistical and mathematical concepts to measure performance against projects to ensure high-quality deliver

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.

  • Great communication skills, and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced production environment

  • Programming experience in Python

  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R) and database languages (e.g., SQL).

  • Strong team player and passion to execute projects with a focus on customer and value

  • Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, economics, quantitative finance, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or related field of engineering

  • Demand forecasting and/or data simulation experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Entry-Level (Level 1)

Related work experience, relevant military experience, or advanced degree preferred, but not required.

Experienced (Level 2)

Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for entry-level: 62,050 - 83,950

Summary pay range for associate level: 76,650 - 102,350
