The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Global Technical Operations (GTO) organization is looking for a Digital Enablement - Mid-Level Sustainment Operations Analyst to join the team in Mesa, AZ. In this role, the successful candidate will serve as the MRO and sustainment business focal for BGS-G in close partnership with enterprise (BDS/BGS) business and technical teams developing future state operations execution (MES/MRO), engineering (PLM), and supply chain (ERP) bedrock systems and digital capabilities for government platforms. Position Responsibilities:

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Represent BGS-G (Global Technical Operations) with BDS (Sapphire), BGS-G ERP, IDT&S, and other enterprise teams to ensure MRO and sustainment requirements drive future bedrock and tool design, development, and delivery, primarily for shop floor execution system (MES/MRO) development, but also engineering (PLM),  supply chain (ERP) systems integrations, and other digital tools.

  • Translate the needs of stakeholders and users into end-state requirements by leading user research initiatives; ensure alignment with business objectives, processes, and priorities set by the lead Product Manager.

  • Own end-user feedback collection and triage; analyze lessons learned, pain points, surveys, and usability studies; convert findings into prioritized improvements.

  • Design, document, and maintain end-state process flows that depict end-to-end business and system steps, roles, data elements, and user vs. system responsibilities.

  • Author epics, features, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria; lead architecture reviews with business and IT architects to gap analyze requirements vs. software capabilities and work with product managers/owners to support backlog maturation, planning, prioritization, and development/testing handoffs.

  • Collaborate with UX focals to define UI requirements and mockups that implement business process steps while meeting usability and accessibility standards. 

  • Validate functionality through user feedback and testing.

  • Help develop and deliver release notes, training materials, tipsheets, and training sessions; provide post-release support to operational users.

  • Ensure deliverables and processes comply with regulatory, safety, and platform-specific constraints applicable to sustainment operations.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years experience with digital transformation, information technology, and/or system development and implementation within an Agile team environment

  • Track record of engaging with end users throughout the project lifecycle and using end user feedback to drive improvement

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple concurrent projects with a ‘progress over perfection’, action-oriented mindset

  • Strong interpersonal communication and people skills, stakeholder management, and facilitation; ability to build trust and engage at all levels in the business

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and writing skills with attention to detail in documenting business requirements, process flows, and system boundaries.

  • Self-starter with systems thinking ability to map operational objectives to technical solutions, including for new/ambiguous scenarios and large-scale problem sets.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with MRO (maintenance, repair, overhaul), remanufacture, and sustainment processes (e.g. planning, work order creation, shop floor execution, quality and defect management, configuration/change management, scheduling).

  • Prior experience with MES, PLM, ERP, or aviation maintenance/MRO IT systems as part of large-scale system integration and modernization is a plus.

  • Prior experience with applying continuous improvement practices in a shop floor or operational environment.

  • Experience or familiarity with design thinking approaches to user research and engagement.

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) and/or similar digital project management and communication tools.

  • Proficiency with MS 365, Teams, Visio, and other documentation platforms.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Starting Pay Rate: $110,300 - $144,100 annually
