Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking a Project Management Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to join the Phantom Works Special Technology Integration team in Mesa, AZ.

The ideal candidate should have experience in leading program teams on developmental and manufacturing programs. Candidate should have experience in developing an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards. Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans. Lead risk assessments, developing mitigation plans. Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance. Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules. Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, and baseline change information to project team. Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders.

  • Developing Integrated Program Plans

  • Coordinate execution with multi-disciplinary teams

  • Manages execution plans for various aspects of the business

  • Coordinates program execution and reporting requirements

  • Perform Risk Management

  • Updates project status, metrics, and plans

  • Work under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Mesa, AZ.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • (Level 3) 6+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor’s or 4+ years of work related  experience with a Master’s or 10+ years of work related experience 

  • (Level 4) 10+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor’s or 8+ years of work related  experience with a Master’s or 14+ years of work related experience 

  • 3 or more years of experience with engineering project planning

Typical Education/Experience: 

Level 3

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)

Level 4

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)

This position will be for first shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range (Level 3): $87,550 - $118,450

Summary pay range (Level 4): $107,950 - $146,050
