Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Services is hiring for a Senior Manager,  Supply Chain Execution(M-level) to join the team located in Mesa, AZ.

The Senior Manager, BGS Supply Chain Execution leads supply chain activities within Product Support, overseeing both individual contributors and managers. This role sets and executes integrated organizational plans, policies, and supply chain strategies; secures resources; manages delivery performance; and drives process improvements. The manager also builds and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, partners, and direct reports, approves technical approaches and deliverables, and develops and motivates their team.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Mesa, AZ location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing supply chain activities within Product Support.

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

  • Establishes and communicates strategies and goals, using supply chain best practices, to ensure common direction

  • Conveys organizational messages and proactively communicates with employees, peers (e.g., fellow senior managers), customers, and senior leadership

  • Promotes employee recognition and builds departmental culture that improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.

  • Work across all BGS entities to ensure integration of best practices

  • Develops and implements strategies to improve open and honest communication within the department.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years' leadership experience in supply chain

  • Experience with critical business and financial acumen including risk, issue, and opportunity management to drive performance

  • 3+ year' 'of experience within Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes

  • 3+ years' of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with cross-functional teams, customers, stakeholder, peers and partners.

  • 3+ years' of experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines

  • Experience leading teams and projects

  • Experience reporting status and recommendations to senior and executive leadership

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field of study3+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).

  • 10+ years of total related experience

  • 3+ years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers

  • 3+ years of experience leading a team or program

  • 3+ years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

  • Experience in Program or Project Management

  • Experience in Department of Defense Supply Chain processes and tools

  • Experience with EVM and CAM supporting Boeing DoD contracts

  • This position requires travel up to 10% of the time

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $174,250 - $235,750
