Boeing’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is currently seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist, to join our Value Stream Integration – Program Management Office (PMO) team on any of the following sites - Denver, CO; Hazelwood, MO; Mesa, AZ.

This role will lead and deliver highly complex, cross functional strategic projects from strategy development through execution, sustainment and benefits realization. Projects may include technology improvements, organizational design, strategic sourcing/partnerships, change management programs, continuous improvement and other initiatives aligned to business and functional strategies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads all phases of highly complex projects and programs from initiation to closeout
  • Directs cross functional teams across multiple organizations
  • Develops, maintains, integrates and analyzes program level plans and schedules in accordance with project management industry standards and Boeing PMBP practices
  • Designs and executes the integration strategy for plans, schedules, change and baseline management across the program lifecycle
  • Serves as primary project contact to establish stakeholder requirements, defines scope, and aligns objectives across internal and external stakeholders; obtains approvals and authorize resource commitments
  • Identifies Risks, Issues, and Opportunities (RIO); performs high level studies/analyses (trend, variance, impact); builds and refine the business case; develops and implements mitigation and contingency plans
  • Provides program governance: status briefings, executive reports, decision logs, change control, and escalation
  • Prepares white papers and executive presentations to communicate program status, metrics and recommendations
  • Ensures project control systems are in place and integrates data for decision makers (schedules, cost/scope tracking, metrics, and reporting)
  • Consults on and recommends best practice tools, processes, techniques for integrated planning, scheduling and baseline/change management
  • Coordinates contractual and strategic commitments with internal and external partners to meet program objectives
  • Leads or mentors others (formally or informally) and contributes to continuous process improvement and lessons learned capture

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience developing and supporting project plans through the full project life cycle
  • 5+ years of experience in the implementation and use of Project Management Best Practices (PMBP) along with processes and methods
  • 5+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership
  • 5+ years of experience presenting and communicating data in Senior Leadership briefings
  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
  • 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Project

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
  • Experience in real estate, facilities or other highly regulated/asset intensive environments
  • Experience with Global programs and demonstrated ability to lead initiatives across geographic locations
  • Experience leading senior leaders and influencing at the executive level
  • Experience with Lean/Agile or continuous improvement methodologies

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Colorado: $126,650 - $171,350

Summary Pay Range for Arizona/Missouri: $118,150 - $159,850
