Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Attack International Systems Integration Engineering Team located in Mesa, AZ.

We are seeking a results-driven leader to oversee execution of multiple concurrent International programs for AH64E and AH-6i. The Senior Manager will lead integration of the technical design teams, resolve Customer concerns, and support new business capture for a variety of International campaign pursuits.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing Systems Integration/Project Engineering tasks on multiple International Apache and AH-6/Mission Enhanced Little Bird Programs

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management on Programs and process improvements

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Manage, develop and motivate employees

  • Develops staffing plans and manage budgets

  • Supports Vertical Lift Attack Programs Chief Engineer with communication on Program technical issues and general program status

  • Support Program Managers with daily coordination and personnel tasks

  • Communicate directly with Executive Leadership and Customer engagements as required

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of Management including Executive Leadership, External Customers and possess concise presentation skills

  • Serve as the delegate to the Attack Chief Engineer covering both Attack and Vertical Lift activities as necessary

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.Final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering related curriculum

  • 15+ years of engineering experience

  • 5+ years of experience leading multi-disciplined complex engineering projects across multiple organizations

  • 5+ years of experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong natural leadership style that moves people to act, motivates and inspires excellence and innovation

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communications skills; comfortable presenting to leadership.

  • Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills

  • Experience managing teams (analysts/coordinators) and mentoring staff.

  • Experience with BDS Military certification procedures and military development/procurement processes

Pay & Benefits:

Summary pay range: $198,900 - $269,100
