Help us lead the future of commercial aircraft modifications in our Boeing Global Services (BGS) EASA Modifications IPT (Integrated Project Team). We are looking for you as an

Airworthiness Engineer – Design Assurance (m/w/d)

to lead commercial aircraft design assurance driving safety, regulatory compliance, quality and technical excellence using industry knowledge, experience and best practices to deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of our Office of Airworthiness (OOA) working directly with the Head of the Design Organisation, Chief of Airworthiness, Chief of Independent Monitoring Function and Safety Manager to ensure coordination between all teams and company sites in development and implementation of process, safety and quality improvements following from the Root Cause Analysis, Containment and Corrective Action planning and implementation resulting from all sources, including; occurrence, risk and hazard reports and internal and external findings.

In this role you will:

· Support the Office of Airworthiness in investigations relating to occurrence reports Root Cause Analysis, Containment Action Definition and Implementation, Corrective Action Definition and Implementation for Occurrences, Risks and Hazards.

· Support the Independent Monitoring Function and OOA in development of Corrective Actions for findings from internal and external sources.

· Work with the OOA, IMF, SM and engineering teams to develop, implement and raise awareness of process, quality and safety improvements developed by the organisation.

· Collaborate with teams across all DOA sites to ensure that process improvements developed from all sources are suitable for all locations and work scopes.

· Assist the OOA in publication, training and awareness of improvements / updates to DAS processes.

· Be able to travel domestic and/or international travel occasionally, normally on a short term (< 1 week) basis.

What you bring to the table:

Basic Qualifications:

· Minimum 10-years aviation/aerospace industry experience with an aeronautical degree.

· Previous experience in Root Cause Analysis, Containment Action Definition and Implementation, Corrective Action Definition and Implementation for Occurrences, Risks and Hazards.

Your Personal Attributes:

· Experience: You are able to demonstrate a working knowledge of EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements including (E)TSO, CS-25, CS-25, CFR Part 25 & Part 21J design organisations

· Collaboration: You are experienced in working effectively with colleagues and customers and are willing to help develop, mentor and coach less experienced staff through training.

· Personality: You are a principled, reliable professional who values integrity, safety and accountability, always striving for the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct. Inclusive and collaborative by nature, you communicate transparently in English both written and spoken, respect diverse perspectives and take ownership to drive results the right way. You have a great positive attitude and you can balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
