Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Experienced Logs and Records Analyst  to support F/A-18 maintenance efforts at JRB New Orleans, LA. The individual will work closely with the F/A-18 Global Services Leadership to support the planning, execution and delivery of Quality products and services.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. JRB New Orleans, Belle Chasse, LA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Documents and maintains completed build/quality/inspection records to maintain the integrity of as-built deliverable product configuration.

  • Reconciles erroneous data entries to ensure all maintenance records are completed and accounted for by conducting database queries and performing audits of planning and maintenance schedules.

  • Assembles data packages and log books from traceable maintenance records in accordance with applicable requirements to provide visibility of deliverable product build status.

  • Provides product configuration information to provide product status for roll out, flight and/or delivery.

  • Provides solutions to a variety of complex problems by developing and implementing process and procedure improvements to ensure the integrity of the documentation for product build processes.

  • Maintains records storage and shipping logs to assure retrievability in compliance with applicable requirements.

  • Performs activities to document aircraft status through verification of maintenance procedures, practices, data and completion of records.

  • Performs analyses and applies aircraft and regulatory knowledge to support the determination of documentation requirements for maintenance, inspection, repair and modification of aircraft.

  • Oversees records for the verification of modification, reviews aircraft airworthiness, assures aircraft configuration. Reviews aircraft return to service and maintenance documents.

  • Applies knowledge of policies, procedures, regulations and standard best practices to deliver informational or technical materials as required.

  • Supports the research and evaluation of organizational issues of moderate scope and complexity. Provides data to ensure informational visibility.

  • Participates in the development and implementation of plans and objectives to meet departmental requirements. Other tasks as requested by leadership.

  • Works under limited supervision.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years’ experience in the position responsibilities listed above

  • Military log and records keeping experience

  • Able to travel 10% of the time or more

  • Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience supporting both internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with FA-18E/F aircraft.

  • Completion of US military A school C-555-2010 (Aviation Maintenance Administration)

  • 4-6 years’ experience with aircraft log and records, Technical Directives, and Technical Library duties.

  • 4+ years’ experience with U.S. Navy or USMC aviation logistics, maintenance and acquisition practices

  • 4+ years’ experience maintaining F/A-18E/F, EA-18G Aircraft Logs, and Records Books

Summary Pay Range: $50,150 - $67,850
