As an ExperiencedUser Experience Specialist m/f/d in the Boeing Frankfurt Software Engineering and Flight Deck Germany groups, your role will be to deeply understand user needs and design software for web and mobile purposes. You will be an integral part of a team that is developing and improving Boeing’s development assurance and pilot tools, working alongside experienced UX designers. This position offers the opportunity to perform user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing, allowing you to make a significant impact on the products and services we deliver. Hiring details:

  • This requisition is for a locally hired position in Neu Isenburg. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.

  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with project teams to create effective, usable, and satisfying user experiences

  • Performing user-centered design activities that actively involve users throughout all phases of a project to ensure product usability

  • Conducting user research through interviews, field studies, and surveys, defining user requirements and usability goals

  • Creating user interaction design alternatives and convey designs by building prototypes

  • Conducting usability tests, heuristic evaluations, and other reviews to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of designs

  • Diagnosing and analyzing usability issues, refining designs or recommending changes based on findings

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • 3-5 years minimum experience in the field

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Fluent in English

  • Strong skills in creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces

  • Ability to iterate and improve designs based on user insights and data

  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma or Sketch

Important information regarding this requisition: This requisition is for a locally hired position in Germany. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in Germany. Boeing will not attempt to obtain immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants.  

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
