Position Overview:

Boeing Defense India team is currently looking for Senior Program Management Specialist to join their team in Delhi NCR. This is an On-Site position.

The selected candidate will report to the Senior Manager, Operations and Training Programs, India.  In this role, the individual will interact with a wide variety of organizations and business units such as the India Ministry of Defense, Armed Forces, BGS Government Training Engineering (GTE), Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS), Boeing Global Sales and Marketing (GS&M), and foreign and domestic suppliers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the end-to-end execution of the designated program.

  • Assist in the development and execution of project plans and schedules and lifecycle management.

  • Establish, monitor and integrate project elements, product configuration and communications concerning change management and decisions.

  • Perform project management activities in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO-standards)

  • Coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaison with International Program Office, identifying areas for improvement in training methodologies, equipment, and facility operations.

  • Serve as a liaison between program and team, finance, planning, scheduling, and line management.

  • Use trend, variance analyses, risk assessments and mitigations, and cost and schedule baselines.

  • Perform project close-out and document lessons learned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION with 12+ years of relevant experience.

  • At least 3 years of experience with Program / Project management with a large organization

  • Experience in working with and/or managing contractors, subcontractors or suppliers, both domestic and international

  • Experience with Program Management Best Practices/PMP/ Scaled Agile framework

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • At least 3 years’ experience working with international customers

  • Experience with military or commercial aviation instructional training viz. Pilot, Navigator or Technical branches

  • QFI, QNI, SFI, SMI, TEI, FTI

  • Microsoft Projects, Power BI

  • Experience as on P8I or C-17 aircraft

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+12 years' related work experience).

This position does offer relocation within INDIA.
