To support our operations team at our Norderstedt site (in the Hamburg metropolitan area), we are looking for a

Shipping Specialist (m/w/d)

As a Shipping Specialist (m/w/d) at Boeing:

  • You will prepare all accompanying documents for international goods traffic, such as customs and export declarations (ZODIAK-ATLAS) and dangerous goods declarations (IATA, IMO, ADR), and pack the goods accordingly.

  • You will track shipments and maintain close contact with freight forwarders and customers.

  • You will handle external communication with our freight forwarders and customs authorities as well as internal communication with our international sales stations.

  • You will check the goods for completeness and compliance with packaging regulations.

  • You will pack and seal shipments, including labels that comply with dangerous goods regulations.

  • You will participate in an on-call service with additional compensation for particularly urgent orders.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • You have successfully completed your vocational training, ideally as a warehouse logistics specialist, warehouse clerk, warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d) or similar.

  • You have 2+ years of experience in a comparable position in the areas of warehousing, logistics, warehouse management, warehouse administration, or freight forwarding.

  • Your knowledge of the German language is at a business fluent level (B2 or better).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • You are familiar with standard software and common merchandise management systems (experience with SAP is a plus).

  • Ideally, you have an industrial truck license.

  • We welcome general knowledge of written English.

  • You are open to challenges, enthusiastic, and impress with constructive solutions, motivation, and independent work.

  • Ideally, you have a class B driver's license.
