Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Fabrication Quality is seeking a First Line Product and Service Quality Manager (Level K) to support our Emergent Operations Quality team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift.

This team is engaged in Airplane Program support in the form of Composite Repair, Airplane Assist, Shim Fabrication, Bluestreak. You will partner closely with operations and Airplane Programs leadership to ensure timely resolution of emergent needs during airplane manufacturing.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

  • May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal/informal role

  • 3+ years of experience in developing and implementing process improvements

  • 3+ years of experience working with and supporting Quality (and/or Production) Management Systems

  • Willingness to work 2nd Shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)

  • 3+ years of experience performing Material Review Board (MRB) product review

  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects

  • 3+ years of experience managing direct reports

  • Ability to identify, plan, develop, and execute business plans and technical strategies

  • Ability to coach teammates on business plans, technical strategies, and develop their problem-solving skills

Shift & Travel:

This position is 2nd shift. Local travel may be required to other Boeing sites as needed.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $115,200 - $140,800
