Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is in search of a Business Operations Specialist IC3 to support the Business Operations team at IRCSC (Interiors Responsibility Center South Carolina) in Ladson SC.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and dynamic team. This role requires both a strategic mind set, but also the ability to execute and resolve conflict often including varying levels of ambiguity. Successful candidates are natural self-starters who are agile with the ability to quickly adapt strategies, plans, and solutions in response to dynamic business requirements. You will help drive business planning and decision making, operations, and business insights up and down the Fabrication South Carolina (FSC) value stream.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Primary focal for Operating Rhythm and Management Information System (MIS)
  • Manage projects and strategic initiatives
  • Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives, deployment analysis and impact mitigation
  • Provides frequent, clear, and concise communication to leadership within and external to the Business Operations organizations
  • Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals
  • Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies
  • Provides implementation direction for work authorization
  • Facilitation and primary focal for business unit management meetings
  • Manage business SharePoint sites and file shares

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of combined education and Business Operations experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
  • 1+ years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership
  • 1+ years of experience advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules, mitigate risk and/or manage through
  • 1+ years of experience facilitating meetings and presenting to senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
  • 3+ years of experience with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • 3+ years of experience with program/project oversight & metrics reporting
  • Prior experience with Directives and Works Statement Authorization
  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
  • Experience working in a dynamic work environment, to include managing multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $90,950 - $123,050
