Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Enterprise Tooling Outsource Management Focal (Experienced and Senior) to join our team in North Charleston, SC that will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and lead the identification and implementation of process improvements within the Tooling Value Stream. The employee will support the creation of outsourced work packages for offload of asset procurement activities. Successful candidates will have an eye for detail and quality, a collaborative mindset to work with teammates and suppliers, and the technical experience to efficiently navigate Boeing systems.  The position is based at the Boeing South Carolina Airport Campus and is 100% on site.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Level Analysts.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides visibility to management and customers of equipment and tool engineering procurement projects.

  • Resolves schedule or product deviations and manufacturing requirements at the program level as well as analyze the impacts and monitor workarounds.

  • Provides status and visibility on comprehensive multi-tiered plans for significant organization, enterprise and business unit projects.

  • Coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project and team, finance, planning, scheduling and management.

  • Coordinates work off-loading and confers with Enterprise Tooling Outsource Management (ETOM) to ensure timely delivery.

  • Analyzes and coordinates resolution of errors in tooling business and product configuration systems.

  • Ensure compliance with established company policies, practices and procedures.

  • Ability to take general direction and efficiently prioritizes and executes work tasks effectively.

Work Authorization Statement: 

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our North Charleston, SC location.

Basic Qualifications:

  • An Associate's degree or higher.

  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3 or more years’ of experience with Manufacturing Operations and/ or Tooling processes.

  • 3 or more years’ of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

  • 3 or more years’ of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to adapt to changing environments and work statements.

  • Proficient working within the Tooling Value Stream.

  • Proficient with Ariba purchasing systems.

  • Proficiency in Enterprise Tooling Visibility System (ETVS), Enterprise Tooling Information Package (ETIP), Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci), (Action Request Log), Action Request Log (AR Log) and Contract Tool Management Application (CTMA) systems.

  • Experience in Velocity, Contract Tool Disposition Management (CTDM) and Reference Engineering Data Automated Retrieval System (REDARS).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range:

  • Experienced (Level 3): $84,150 - $113,850

  • Senior (Level 4): $103,700 - $140, 300
