BoeingCommercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Manufacturing Manager – Line Side Control Center Leader (Level K) to support the Line Side Control Center (LSCC) at the Boeing Delivery Center based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

We are looking for a successful candidate with strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate One BPS culture, tools and key performance indicators. This candidate will also connect directly with our Values and act to further those values with how they act.

 Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple disciplines

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

  • Create a culture that enhances productivity, safety, and a teaming environment

  • Actively promotes the growth and development of employees

  • Leads through influence those team members that do not report directly to them

  • Implement Line Side Control Center Work expectations and standards ­

  • Implement Group Coordinator Team expectations and standards

  • Provide resources and lead teams to ensure issue resolution and prevention

  • Rapid problem resolution using the Boeing Problem Solving Model­Provide oversight of functional support to ensure resolution of production build issues

  • Remove roadblocks by working with support and manufacturing management teams

  • Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities for improvement and establish action plans

  • Engage with the Factory Support Collaboration Center (FSCC) to identify projects to resolve chronic issues and/or long term improvements

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Boeing Delivery Center in North Charleston, SC

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the aerospace fabrication or manufacturing.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in advising and influencing others to meet quality and safety requirements or resolve technical or operational problems.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading and working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Systematic Problem Solving and Standardized Work

  • Willing to work any shift required

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Willing to work any shift required
  • Experience with Field Operations

  • Familiar with Boeing Production System (BPS) concepts

  • Strong interpersonal skills

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $96,000 - $131,100
