Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an Experienced or Senior Manufacturing Technology Analyst to join the team in Ladson, SC.  The manufacturing engineer will be an integral member of the Propulsion South Carolina team, providing production engineering support to multiple programs, projects and components.  We are a team of fast-paced and eager engineers; skilled scientists and thinkers; bold innovators willing to push boundaries. With over 3,000 dedicated professionals, Boeing Production Engineering (PE) is the heartbeat of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. We oversee every aspect of the aircraft lifecycle—from initial product conception to ongoing customer support. Our mission? To design, deploy, operate, and maintain the production systems that bring Boeing airplanes to life!

Your Role

As part of PE, you’ll be the central hub of activity, collaborating with design teams, manufacturing experts, suppliers, and customers. You’ll help establish the common processes, standards, and procedures that ensure we meet government regulations and stay competitive in the market.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes data to make recommendations on projects requiring manufacturing engineering practices.

  • Manages projects using approved project management techniques.

  • Coordinates improvements in engineering designs, manufacturing processes.

  • Creates or approves supporting processes and related documentation.

  • Assists with consultation and training on procedures and processes related to engineering and production.

  • Participates on product development teams and identifies producibility issues to maximize efficiency.

  • Performs feasibility studies in support of product development.

  • Performs technical and administrative activities to meet regulatory, production and process requirements in support of the manufacturing plan.

  • Communicates with internal/external stakeholders to ensure products and services compliance.

  • Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Associate's degree or higher.

  • 3 or more years’ experience in a manufacturing production environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • (Senior level) 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

  • Summary pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $90,950 – $123,050

  • Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $111,350 – $150,650
