Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain is seekinga Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3) to join our Final Assembly Fulfillment team located in North Charleston, SC supporting the 787 program.

This position will incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. The statement of work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

Up to 10% domestic travel may as needed to other Boeing sites.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Initiates, coordinates, releases, and maintains orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability

  • Ensures on-time delivery

  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies by partnering with external suppliers

  • Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan

  • Reports schedule adherence issues

  • Applies developed solutions to inventory plans

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories

  • Creates schedules for products and services

  • Processes documentation associated with repair items and warranty claims

  • Ad hoc reporting and data analysis

  • Implements, supports and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance

  • Works under general supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+  years of experience with supply chain management or materials management 

  • 3+  years of experience with supply chain forecasting 

  • 3+  years of experience interpreting Bill of Materials 

  • 3+  years of experience working with industry ERP systems 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field

  • 5+ years of experience working in a production/manufacturing environment  

  • 1+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management 

  • 1+ years of experience with eTRAC system (or equivalent shortage tracking system)

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Supply chain or related industry certification

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $76,500 - $103,500
