The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the team in either North Charleston, SC.

Join Boeing’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team, supporting the 787 Dreamliner program. This role offers a hands‑on opportunity to protect employee health and safety and drive environmental stewardship initiatives across a rapidly growing campus.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates closely with Site Expansion and Facilities teams to integrate EHS requirements into project plans

  • Reviews planning and designs changes for new construction to ensure compliance with safety standards

  • Evaluates Construction Management of Change (MOC) submissions and ensures appropriate risk controls are implemented

  • Develops and oversees accountability mechanisms for contractor compliance and incident management

  • Conducts EHS construction compliance inspections to provide risk‑assurance oversight

  • Coordinates with leadership and deliver regular status reports and presentations

  • Makes timely, informed decisions and act decisively on safety issues

  • Drives stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional collaboration to support project execution

  • Troubleshoots and resolves safety issues ranging from routine to complex

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience working in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

  • 3+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, etc.)

  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred

  • 5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in managing projects

  • 3+ years of construction experience

  • 3+ years of EHS design experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

Summary pay range for Level 3: $89,250 - $120,750

Summary pay range for Level 4: $110,500 - $149,500
