Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Project Management Specialist – Customer Introductions Integrated Program Scheduling (Level 2 or 3) to join the 787 Customer Introduction Scheduling Team in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs and change driven activities

  • Supports studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), develops reports, risk assessments and leads planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, and program initiatives

  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case

  • Develops and establishes lead time requirements, ensuring actions complete on time with first pass quality

  • Supports studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments and planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives

  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion

  • Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies

  • Skills and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, analyze data and summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.

  • Develops & builds collaborative relationships and leverages a cross functional network to accomplish work activities and goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience leading through influence and partnering / collaborating with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

  • 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining integrated schedules encompassing design, manufacturing, equipment, tooling and resource requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools

  • 2+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project

  • 6+ years combined education and relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals

  • Experience with presenting and effectively communicating data to Senior and Executive Leadership

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university

  • PMP Certification

  • 2+ years of experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as: Open Plan Professional, Microsoft Project Professional, Enterprise Project Management, Jira, or similar

  • 2+ years of experience with program oversight & metrics reporting

  • Experience in aerospace or production / manufacturing environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range Level 2: $76,500 - $103,500

Summary Pay Range Level 3: $94,350 - $127,650
