Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Project Management Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to join the 787 Business Operations team in North Charleston, SC on Shift 1.

A successful candidate has strong project management skills, communicates clearly and concisely, follows through, and builds strong, positive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and monitor comprehensive project plans to ensure all milestones & deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Manage the project portfolio in partnership with project managers, ensuring all individual plans align with key milestones, budgetary constraints, and organizational KPIs.
  • Manages MBU-specific Capital & Tooling portfolios
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and implement rate enablers, ensuring operational readiness for the next production rate increase.
  • Optimize project management processes and underlying business systems to enhance operational efficiency and support organizational growth.
  • Empower stakeholders to meet business goals by fostering a culture of accountability and strict adherence to gated processes.
  • Facilitate high-level decision-making for operations and support leaders by providing integrated, data-driven project plans and insights.
  • Establish a weekly and monthly FSCC meeting cadence to ensure streamlined communication and consistent progress toward top priorities.
  • Integrate project portfolios within the MBU operating rhythm to drive transparency, cross-functional concurrence, and total accountability.
  • Manage meeting documentation, including critical decision tracking and action-item distribution, to maintain project momentum and clarity.
  • Prioritize continuous improvement activities by leading discussions based on standardized guidelines and operational requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of combined education and relevant work experience
  • 1+ years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership
  • 1+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
  • 1+ years of experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as: Open Plan Professional, Microsoft Project Professional, Enterprise Project Management, or a similar tool 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  • PMP Certification
  • 3+ years of experience with program oversight & metrics reporting
  • Experience working on airplane programs or supporting the production system
  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
  • Experience working in a multifaceted work environment, to include managing multiple priorities

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range level 3: $94,350 - $127,650

Summary Pay Range level 4: $118,150 - $159,850
