Boeing’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is currently seeking a dynamic, agile and results-oriented Senior Manager - Operational Excellence to lead our GREF Operational Excellence Team in North Charleston, SC.

The GREF organization is a team of 2,000+ employees whose collective mission is to enable the building of Boeing’s products. GREF provides strategic partnership and support to all Boeing business units, creating outsized impact and value across the Enterprise.

The selected Operational Excellence leader in this role would be an integral member of the GREF executive leadership team and valued partner in operating and transforming the function who will oversee a broad portfolio comprehensive of:

  • Leadership of Project Management and Business Operations resources

  • Developing and operating sophisticated commercial controls, reporting and modeling

  • Embedding Lean initiatives and mindset through the organization

  • Developing compelling business cases for transformation investments

  • Driving and measuring business performance growth

  • Optimizing organizational design

  • Championing a customer-centric culture

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop Business Operations and Project Management Resources to enable efficient delivery of the COE and BUI/BRM workstreams

  • Evolve the Business Operations function to strengthen Risk and Resilience

  • Build a new commercial controls function, consolidating existing resources and partnering with Finance to ensure sophisticated budgeting, prioritization, modeling and reporting of both Capital and Expense

  • Enhance capability for robust business case development and presentation for investment in transformation activity

  • Assess, advise and support GREF organizations on organizational design

  • Implement organizational redesigns that are inclusive of creating better customer experience, supporting multi-functional collaboration, workforce assessments to understand capability gaps and change management, when appropriate

  • Create a culture within GREF that drives the team to embrace and adopt new tools, systems, applications and technology

  • Build external relationships with consultant parties

  • Engage and partner closely with Finance teams

  • Build relationships and work with other Transformation colleagues across the Boeing enterprise to embed transformation processes, methodologies, and ways of working

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale transformation and change initiatives in a complex, global organization

  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management and/or technical integration

  • 10+ years of experience performing financial analysis

  • 10+ years of experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations

  • 10+ years of experience with large scale change management and business transformation projects

  • 10+ years of experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • 5+ years of experience crafting operational strategy, or implementing and executing against organizational strategy

  • Experience with driving and leading organizational change with positive results

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.   

Summary Pay Range: $204,000 - $276,000
