Boeing’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Project, Asset, Construction and Engineering COE Organization is currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their team as a Senior Manager. This opportunity is available at any of the following Boeing sites: Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Huntington Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Renton, WA; Ridley Park, PA or Seattle, WA.

The Senior Manager of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Digital Operations is a senior GREF leadership role responsible for the overall strategic vision, implementation, and management of BIM and other digital technologies within the construction or architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) space. This individual will drive digital transformation, optimize workflows and improve project delivery throughout the entire building lifecycle collaborating across multiple centers of excellence establishing standards.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Implementation

    • In partnership with the technology team develop and execute the company's digital delivery and BIM strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.

    • Create BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) for projects and develop standards, templates, and workflows to guide implementation and sustainment.

  • Operational Leadership

    • Oversee and manage day-to-day digital operations across multiple projects and teams.

    • Manage leaders and teammates, establish quality assurance procedures, and monitor performance to ensure project success.

  • Technology Management

    • Stay up-to-date with emerging BIM digital construction technologies and standards; evaluate and make recommendations for new software and tools.

    • Collaborate with IT to integrate new platforms and optimize existing ones, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

  • Team Development

    • Mentor, train, and manage BIM Managers and Specialists, digital delivery staff, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.

    • Develop training programs and conduct performance evaluations to enhance team capabilities.

  • Stakeholder Coordination

    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams (design, construction, IT) and external stakeholders (clients, architects, contractors).

    • Ensure that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Innovation

    • Champion the adoption of new digital tools and workflows, such as digital twins and data analytics, to improve efficiency and drive innovation.

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in digital operations.

  • Role requires up to 25% domestic travel

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Building Information Modeling software, scanning tools, and digital operations

  • 5+ years of experience with construction design drawings in either 2D or 3D environment

  • Experience leading digital transformational and global change initiatives in a corporate work environment

  • 25% domestic travel

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Building Information Modeling Transformation

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $134,300 - $194,350
