Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an AssociateShipside Operations Specialist (Level 2) to join the 787  Line Side Control Center (LSCC) Midbody and Aft Team located in NorthCharleston, SC on variable shift.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization.

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.

  • Analyzes and interprets data.

  • Provides feedback on assessment results.

  • Assist organizations in identifying recurring and high impact issues.

  • Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address recurring and high impact issues.

  • Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items.

  • Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates.

  • Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action

  • Experience working with customers

  • 3+ years’ experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project

  • Must have analytical, communication, and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years’ experience in the airline/aerospace industry

  • Higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

  • Experience working with customers

  • 1+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience

  • 1+ years of experience with operations analysis or operations research

Summary pay range: $68,850 - 93,150
