The opportunity

We are seeking a talented Program Coordinator/Administrator to be a pivotal part of our Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) Program.  The HATS Program delivers holistic enabling services in support of Army's fleet of EC-135 T3H training helicopters, based at Swartz Barracks, Oakey.

This is a Temporary position for approximately 6 months due to a leave of absence.

Responsibilities:

The Program Coordinator/Administrator assists and supports the Program team with various tasks including:

  • Coordination and administration of the Program/Site operating rhythm.
  • Risk, Issues and Opportunities (RIO) management.
  • Development and maintenance of Program-specific documentation.
  • Compilation, monitoring, analysis and reporting of Program performance metrics.
  • Office administration and Business support duties including:
    • Communications and correspondence management
    • Administration of office supplies, visitors, travel and event planning

Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Project Management/Controller/Coordinator, or an Administrator role.
  • Project management qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
  • Intermediate MS suite skills and experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and network across all levels of our business.
  • Ability to problem-solve, provide critical thinking and adapt easily to fast changing situations.
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
