Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate or Experienced Hardware Design Engineer to support the Training Team in Oklahoma City, OK.

The Boeing Company is seeking a Government Training Hardware Design Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to support various platforms in Oklahoma City, OK. Tasks and duties range from design and test to integration of various common off-the-shelf (COTS) components into customer delivered hardware solutions. This design engineer is pivotal in creating electro-mechanical systems from development architecture into production-ready deliverables.


The Hardware Design Engineer for the Hardware Design, Manufacturing, Operations (HDMO) team supporting the Government Training Engineering (GTE) organization will support a multi-skill team of engineers and technicians responsible for design, production, and integration of systems for multiple domestic and international customers.

The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with the design and development of Training Systems derivatives. They will be providing technical support during the build, integration, and installation stages for multiple platforms, such as the E-7 Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C), KC-46 Tankers, E-3 AWACS, and the B-52 Bombers.

This individual will serve as a technical specialist supporting other integrated product teams during all stages of the system product development lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience
  • 2+ years' experience creating engineering drawings
  • 2+ years' experience do you have in a design environment with electrical and/or mechanical components and/or assemblies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience creating engineering drawings
  • 5+ years’ experience do you have in a design environment with electrical and/or mechanical components and/or assemblies
  • 3+ years of experience in utilizing computer aided design tools and systems, including Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), Computer Aided Three Dimensional Interactive (CATIA), Mentor Graphics, and Unigraphics
  • Experience with military aircraft systems
  • Experience working on Agile Projects as a Scrum Master, a Product owner, a User Experience Specialist, or a development team member
  • Experience employing Earned Value Management techniques either as a project manager, control account manager, or control account manager assistant
  • Experience with Material Review Board processes

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Associate-Level Summary Pay Range: $71,400 to $96,600

Experienced-Level Summary Pay Range: $88,400 to $119,600

Security Clearance
