The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate System Administrator to join the team in Oklahoma City, OK.  

The Boeing Defense Service (BDS) Information Technology (IT) team is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused specialist. In this role, you will provide support with a range of technical systems and applications, configure and maintain multiplatform systems hardware, software and components.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes computing requirements in classified labs

  • Supports a multidisciplined range of technical systems and application activities

  • Supports activities to install, configure and maintain multiplatform systems hardware, software and components

  • Supports activities to plan, develop, design, integrate and maintain all computer applications

  • Plans and coordinates highly complex software and hardware for enterprise release

  • Ensures systems conforms with architectural objectives

  • Evaluates complex system's production readiness and supportability

  • Performs the restoration of complex computing service operations

  • Performs complex system problem identification and resolution

  • Supports activities to integrate security solutions into information systems

  • Supports knowledge transfer to junior admins to provide on the job training

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification

  • 1+ years of experience in hardware and software integration

  • 1+ years of experience with hardware and software configuration management

  • 1+ years of experience with hardware troubleshooting

  • 1+ years of experience working in a classified environment or handling classified material

  • Experience working in development labs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience working with cross functional teams

Summary pay range: $73,100 - $98,900
