Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an E-6 Field Service Representative to provide technical support and on-site company representation at Tinker AFB/Oklahoma City, OK.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Tinker AFB/Oklahoma City, OK.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short-notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide Engineering/Technical support to assist in the identification and retrieval of data as detailed in the following paragraphs.
  • Respond to verbal or written inquiries and provide authorized Boeing releasable technical data relating to commercial 700 series aircraft (only as they pertain to 707 and/or E-6B/TE-6B), 707 derivative, and E‑6B/TE-6B unique aircraft topics including: design information, flight test data, original qualification tasks, performance, reliability, survivability and vulnerability, air-frame and structures, systems and subsystems, electrical/electronic systems and other areas where contractor engineering experience and/or information is required.
  • Provide 707 specific part numbers, the engineering data includes engineering drawings, specifications, analysis reports, and data necessary to support configuration accounting, performance analysis, and respond to recurring tasks.
  • Provide any recommended Technical Manual changes to the E-6B/TE-6B FST/ISS via the on-site Government representative.
  • Review 707 commercial and peculiar E-6B or TE-6B Support Equipment technical data, including Airworthiness Directives, Service Letters, Service Bulletins, Fleet Team Digests, and Commercial Information Messages for E-6B or TE-6B applicability.
  • Provides technical field support of company products.
  • Performs troubleshooting procedures for multiple systems coverage.
  • Resolves maintenance and operational issues.
  • Interprets technical documents and monitors product performance.
  • Analyzes technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures.
  • Develops and conducts ad hoc training.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience performing aviation maintenance since obtaining your Airframe and Powerplant (A&P)license

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with E-6 or derivative aircraft

  • Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime including rotating shifts

  • Available to be on-site within 2 hours of being called into work after hours

  • At the sole discretion of leadership,employees must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs. Failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with NAVY processes and procedures

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years of related work experience, 10 years of related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: 74,800 - 101,200
