Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) is seeking a Product Data Management Engineering Specialist in support of the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) and E-7 programs in Oklahoma City, OK.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate or Experienced Level Specialists.

Position Responsibilities:

Associate (Level 2)

  • Assists with activities to identify and document product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management, and engineering processes.
  • Assists with plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory, and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.
  • Supports the monitoring of adherence to regulatory, data configuration, and contractual requirements; assists with audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
  • Supports certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions, and/or data requirements/data management processes.
  • Works general supervision.

Experienced (Level 3)

  • Defines, documents, and interprets product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management, and engineering processes.
  • Develops, documents, and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory, and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.
  • Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration, and contractual requirements; supports audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
  • Assists with development certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions, and/or data requirements/data management processes.
  • Works general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple engineering teams.
  • Experience managing high level projects for senior leadership and customers.
  • Ability to perform Change Management.
  • Assists with plans and processes.
  • Facilitate project, platform, and program change board meetings.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 2: 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range for Associate level (Level 2): $67,150 - $90,850

Summary pay range for Experienced level (Level 3): $84,150 - $113,850

Oklahoma Tax Credit:

If you have an engineering degree from an ABET accredited college or university in Oklahoma and are not currently working in the aerospace sector in Oklahoma, you may qualify for a $5000 tax credit from the state of Oklahoma for up to five years.  Click here for more information on the tax credit.
