Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Logistics Support Representative (LSR) to provide Logistics Support to support our team at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The LSR is responsible to act as liaison interface between the warehouse, program, DLA and Government shops requesting parts and tracking requirements.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

The LSR will be involved in a multitude of supply chain related activities to include DLA customer collaborative forecasting and demand reviews, reporting on supply chain activities, strategy development for support of prime contract requirements, enhancing processes and procedures, and working across a multi-functional services team.  The LSR will also interface directly with the US Air Force and DLA customers, work autonomously within the Boeing enterprise, and will need to have a solid working knowledge, experience, and understanding of end-to-end supply chain activities and Depot Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul operations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between the depot maintenance operations, supply, the program office and coordinating discrepancies between the Contractor's inventory system, asset requirements and the Authority's Enterprise System
  • Identify Supply Chain alternatives to resolve issues/constraints
  • Conduct supplier/customer presentations and program reviews
  • Respond to customer inquiries and coordinates delivery problem resolution
  • Act as Logistics liaison between on-site DLA team and STL Asset Managers
  • Research, identify, and resolve customer supply support system inventory discrepancies
  • Monitor logistics and warehouse system performance
  • Solicit customer feedback and takes action to improve satisfaction with company services

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in military logistics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain and/or logistics and/or transportation logistics for a large company or as a third-party logistics manager.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer's needs and statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, employees must be willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and the statement of work.  Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Field Operations experience is desired.
  • Aviation logistics background.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $90,950 - $123,050.
