Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer Support Analyst in support of the Airplane Systems Flight Deck Capability in Oklahoma City, OK.

The Flight Deck Systems team develops the engineering artifacts for the modification of Commercial Derivative Military aircraft avionics systems.  The qualified candidate will assist in the evaluation of supplier data relevant to the development of Tier III and IV artifacts including the certification approach as well as the conformity and qualification testing of parts.  We are looking for a team player who enjoys interacting with a wide range of stakeholders and accepting a variety of tasks.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads teams to research, analyze and compile complex technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle.
  • Applies complex systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools to the design of system of systems, systems, and new product development.
  • Derives and develops complex architectures, functional requirements, refinements, and product designs.
  • Assists in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks, and specialty engineering considerations into definition of the product.
  • Provides leadership to project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers, and suppliers to meet group, organization, and company objectives.
  • Performs technical planning and control; maintains and improves processes and software tools.
  • Provides technical leadership, develops training, leads, and mentors others.
  • Works under consultative direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s in an aviation related field of study.
  • 10+ years of aviation experience.
  • Basic understating of Guidance, Navigation, and Flight Control Systems.
  • Experience interfacing with and presenting to Senior Leadership and Government Customers.
  • Providing recommendations on complex technical issues to stakeholders. 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in Technical Subcontractor Management.
  • Comfortable working in fast paced programs.
  • Ability to review engineering artifacts for accuracy and quality.
  • Familiar with Boeing Process and Command Media.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $139,400 - $188,600

Oklahoma Tax Credit:

If you have an engineering degree from an ABET accredited college or university in Oklahoma and are not currently working in the aerospace sector in Oklahoma, you may qualify for a $5000 tax credit from the state of Oklahoma for up to five years.  Click here for more information on the tax credit.
