The Boeing Legacy Tankers (KC-135 and KDC/KC-10) organization is seeking a Sr Level Engineering Integration and Technical Program lead to lead engineering sustainment services contract proposal, project execution and help shape new business development in Oklahoma City, OK.

This role will focus on providing engineering/technical support to the KC-135 Chief Engineering office, executing all aspects of current contracts and future proposals to the United States Air Force (USAF) customer at Tinker Air Force Base.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Boeing facility in Oklahoma City, OK.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads project execution to complete the work statement

  • Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers

  • Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements

  • Research, analyze, and compile technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle.

  • Apply systems engineering processes, methodologies and tools to the design of systems, systems and new product development.

  • Derive and develop architecture, functional requirements, refinements and product designs. Assist in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks and specialty engineering considerations into definition of the product.

  • Interface with other members of the project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives.

  • Responds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules

  • Identifies performance metrics.  Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program

  • Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity

  • Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned

  • Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.

  • Works under minimal direction

This position requires the ability to obtain an active U.S. Security Clearance.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience performing complex engineering / system integration work

  • 10+ years’ experience multi-disciplined project management

  • 10+ years of experience in leading and/or managing complex projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in aging aircraft modification and sustainment

  • 5+ years’ experience in Earned Value Management

  • Interface with other members of the project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives.

  • Experience working across a team representing multiple skill areas with internal and external resources and customers

  • Experience with complex systems development and integration

  • 10+ years’ experience in avionics modifications and sustainment

Typical Education/Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary Pay Range:                        113,900 – 154,100
