Boeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking an Experienced or Senior Systems Engineer (Level 3 or Level 4) to join the Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) team located in Oklahoma City, OK.   MS&B is an integrated, dynamic team responsible for development, modification, production, and sustainment of a variety of military and commercial derivative aircraft and weapons systems. The selected candidate will be part of the MS&B Engineering Integration team. 

This position is expected to be 100% on-site. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads the execution of global work placement for MS&B Engineering
  • Works with project owners to identify, develop and execute of statement of work for global work placement
  • Interfaces with the senior engineering capability leaders and managers to ensure the global and affordability plans meet MS&B targets
  • Develops global and affordability metrics to track performance at the MS&B Division Level
  • Maintains global work placement process documentation and makes updates to processes with stakeholder agreement
  • Coaches MS&B teams on effective global work placement
  • Supports BDS international partners in forecasting demand, identifying capacity and skill levels to meet the statement of work
  • Develops and projects planning efforts in cooperation with our US and International teams to deliver on program critical timeline needs.
  • Collaborates with teammates across multiple Business Units, Locations (CONUS and OCONUS), and Engineering Disciplines
  • Works with MS&B and BDS project focals to capture MS&B affordability savings (global, Lean, Bulk, etc.)
  • Represents MS&B at BDS Affordability working group
  • Present monthly progress to Executive leadership across MS&B and BDS
  • Works under general direction
  • Assists with other cross-program Engineering tasks as necessary (change proposal development, schedule integration, process maintenance, etc.)

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

  • 3+ years of experience in engineering or analysis

  • 2+ years of experience with Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate/present to Boeing and customer teams and leaders
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and develop execution plans for deliverables
  • Experience working in an export environment with knowledge around creating, updating international agreements.   This includes developing and maintaining Internal Control Plans.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range:  Experienced (Level 3) $90,950 -123,050

Summary pay range: Senior (Level 4) $111,350 - 150,650
