Boeing is looking for Production Control/ Production Coordinator to join our team in Papa, Hungary.

This position is part of the on-site C-17 Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program maintenance team supporting the Strategic Airlift Capability (SAC) C-17 aircraft based at Papa AB, Hungary. Applicant will participate in organizational level maintenance activities (e.g. flight line tasks including aircraft servicing, inspections, fault diagnosis and component replacement, and structural repair) associated with day-to-day operations of C-17 Globemaster III aircraft to meet SAC mission requirements. Additionally, participation in Intermediate level maintenance activities (e.g. back-shop tasks including component repair, test set operation, battery charging, and scheduled periodic inspections) will be required.

This Production Control Production Coordinator position provides support to Boeing flightline and backshop maintenance activities in support of the Heavy Airlift Wing (HAW) at Papa Air Base in Hungary.

Responsibilities:

  • Successful candidate will be working outdoors and on the flightline around live aircraft in addition to working in the tool crib.
  • Process and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions.
  • Monitors work in process.
  • Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability.
  • Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
  • Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.

Basic requirements:

  • There will be requirements to work three shifts and weekends to support the maintenance effort.
  • This position requires to obtain NATO Clearance.
  • Minimum started and ongoing logistics studies and/or experience gained in the field of warehousing.
  • Solid English skills

Relocation:

Relocation is offered on this requisition for qualified candidates.

Applicants must be able to obtain work permit/visa depending on requirements of the country. This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll.

Important: The employment will be contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.
