Boeing Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) is currently seeking an Information Technology Senior Manager to join the team in either Plano, TX; Arlington, VA; Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; El Segundo, CA; or Seattle, WA.

The selected candidate will manage Boeing Enterprise Security (BES) engagements with Boeing subsidiaries and will assess subsidiary security risk, approve remediation plans and track to completion. They will provide identity and access management operations for specific subsidiaries and ensure coordination across BES, IT&O, and local subsidiary teams that are performing services for subsidiaries.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintains security risk profiles for Boeing subsidiaries

  • Ensures priorities are clear for all security related work, regardless of source

  • Tracks progress on security related work, with special focus on emergent vulnerabilities

  • Connects subsidiary teams with subject matter experts in the enterprise or in other subsidiaries to advance knowledge and reduce risk

  • Hosts working sessions for all subsidiary teams to raise awareness on special topics, strategic direction, upcoming work, and flow down from enterprise IDT&S leaders

  • Brings subject matter experts together from across Boeing Enterprise Security and Information Technology & Operations to test security controls in subsidiaries or other Boeing operating environments

  • Identifies opportunities for process and technology improvements

  • Establishes plans, resources, and organization agreements required to execute improvements

  • Manages or participates in the improvement efforts

  • Installs, configures, operates, and maintains Identity and Access Management tools including primarily Active Directory, CyberArk privileged access management, Public Key Infrastructure certificate authorities, RSA Secure Token, and Okta authentication

  • Owns and performs SOx controls related to the managed systems where there is SOx oversight

  • Communicates the security risk position, recommendations, and status to Boeing Business Unit presidents, subsidiary presidents, IDT&S Leadership Team, subsidiary IT leaders, Boeing Corporate Audit, and Boeing IDT&S functional leaders

  • Participates in technical brainstorming sessions to find innovative, sound security solutions that meet cost and time objectives of small, fast-moving organizations without jeopardizing Boeing's low risk tolerance

  • Plans and manages budget to enable subsidiaries to leverage Boeing license agreements

  • Collaborates with IDT&S and non-IDT&S organizations, sharing risk information, engagement plans, and remediation plans

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

  • 10+ years of experience leading large technology based or security focused projects

  • 10+ years of experience delivering architecture & design solutions supporting data security

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • IAM Level 1 DoD 8140.01 (previously 8570.01) compliant certification (i.e. CAP, GSLC, Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP, CISM, GSLC)

  • Experience implementing and managing a cyber-risk management program, Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX) program, auditing of applications or processes, or other compliance programs

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $187,000 - $270,250

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
