2026-2027 University Summer Internship – Engineering

Seeking Engineering summer interns. Where you can create what’s next.

If you want to put your university studies into practice before graduating, Boeing Australia’s university intern opportunities will provide you with hands-on insight into the fast-paced global aerospace industry. 

Boeing Aerostructures Australia is Australia’s only designer and advanced manufacturer of structural composite components for Boeing’s commercial airplanes.  With almost 1000 employees on site, Boeing Aerostructures Australia has developed a successful advanced manufacturing ecosystem.

For students in their second, third or fourth year of study, we offer a 12-week placement to work on site-based and corporate projects. As well as interesting, real-life work experience, we also offer you a mentor and peer support. Plus, you gain insights into Boeing Australia to help decide the best career options for when you graduate.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Student status
  • Must be available to work 100% onsite in Port Melbourne over the 12 week duration (mid-late November 2026 start - late February 2027 finish with Christmas break)
  • Applicants must have full, unrestricted working rights in Australia

Preferred Qualifications (Skills / Experience):

  • Currently be studying a Bachelor of Engineering, majoring in one the following –

Aerospace

Chemical

Materials Science

Mechanical

Mechatronics

Systems Engineering
