Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced Facilities Reliability Engineer (Level 3) to support the Facilities team in Portland, Oregon.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures and operational issues

  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and equipment engineering teams to identify failure modes and implement corrective actions

  • Develop and maintain reliability metrics and reports to track equipment performance and failure trends

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime and improving equipment availability

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to design and implement reliability improvements

  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations for maintenance strategies and equipment upgrades

  • Ensure compliance with Boeing’s safety and quality standards

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action

  • 3+ years of experience working on equipment reliability projects

  • 3+ years of experience reliability and maintenance methodologies and tools

  • 3+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams

  • 3+ years of experience analyzing requirements to develop action plans and facilitate implementation efforts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in the aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment

This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $108,900 - 133,100
