Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fabrication Quality Superintendent (Level M) to join our team in Portland, Oregon.

This role is critical in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality, with a proven ability to navigate conflicts and foster collaborative relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inspection processes to ensure all parts meet quality standards and specifications.

  • Lead quality investigations to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and engineering, to drive quality improvements and resolve quality-related issues.

  • Prepare and present executive reports on quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives.

  • Navigate conflicts effectively, facilitating discussions to reach mutually beneficial solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company quality standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners.

  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change.

  • 5+ years of experience in leading and influencing people in a matrix organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in operations or quality management.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

  • Experience in executive reporting and presenting quality metrics to senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate conflicts and build strong partnerships.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range: $177,650 - $240,350
