Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical expertise to support the design and manufacture of parts and assemblies.
  • Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
  • Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies.
  • Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
  • Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with computer aided design (CAD) tools for the design of undefined
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings.
  • 1+ years’ experience utilizing CAD/CAM software (preferred CATIA, Vericut simulation, MasterCAM,).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Associate degree or higher.
  • 4+ years’ experience utilizing CATIA V5 NC Programming and Vericut within a 5-axis machining environment.
  • 4+ years’ experience with the set-up, maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of machine tools.
  • Previous metrology experience including application of GD&T.

Pay Range Summary:

The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

  • Associate (level 2): $85,000 - $115,000
  • Mid-Level (level 3): $102,850 - $139,150
