C-17 Product Data Management Specialist — FMxC2 Data Entry

Summary

This role is focused on accurate data entry and routine data management into the US Air Force FMxC2 system and related data repositories. The primary responsibility is to transcribe, validate, maintain, and report on customer created records and flight/engine recorder data to ensure data integrity, configuration control, and accessibility for operational and certification needs. The position supports daily customer interaction and routine data reporting from FMxC2.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily data entry of customer maintenance and recorder information into the US Air Force FMxC2 system, C-17 Standard Flight Data Recorder, and C-17 engine Quick Access Recorder repositories.
  • Verify incoming customer data meets documented regulations and accuracy standards; coordinate with customers to resolve routine discrepancies.
  • Maintain data quality through validation checks, update records, and ensure configuration control of data entries.
  • Keep detailed process records, accountability logs, and final disposition of data, records, and files.
  • Produce and deliver pre-programmed and customized C-17 data reports, primarily extracted from FMxC2, in response to customer requests.
  • Support audits and routine reviews by providing accurate data records and evidence of data management processes.
  • Work independently under general supervision and adapt to the customer’s operating environment and cultural setting.

Required Qualifications / Experience

  • US Security Clearance required — US Citizen.
  • Demonstrated experience in roles requiring timely and accurate data entry and responsiveness to ad-hoc customer requests.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and interacting directly with military customers.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior hands-on experience using the USAF FMxC2 data system (or similar e.g. IMDS) is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with product data management and configuration status accounting in DoD environments.
  • Knowledge of quality systems such as Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS) and AS9100 is advantageous.

Additional Information

  • This is an International Local Hire Employee (ILHE) position supporting the C-17 Globemaster III Sustainment (G3) contract in Al-Udeid, Qatar.
  • Relevant education/certification from an accredited institution or equivalent practical experience.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Al-Udeid, Qatar. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable Qatari law. Employment is subject to the candidate's ability to satisfy all Qatari labor and immigration formalities.
