Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a 737 Payloads Certification Data & Analytics Specialist with experience and passion surrounding the development of data & analytics platforms, tools, and reporting.  The specialist will support 737 Payloads in Renton, WA with an initial focus on Certification.

Position Overview:

In this role, the employee will be responsible for benchmarking current data sources and reporting, understanding what associated backend data exists, how to access and leverage backend data, provide and iterate proposals to utilize available data sources to meet reporting and visibility needs, and ultimately implement data, analytic, and reporting solutions across 737 Payloads.  It is important the employee is proactive, curious, self-driven, and hard working.  The employee will regularly work with engineering value stream partners and leadership, as well as associated process, tool, and IT team members to find optimum solutions.  Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders is essential in order to achieve successful outcomes. A successful candidate should have a strong foundation in project management and is expected to perform project management activities to drive project completion and produce project visibility artifacts that will be shared with Program Leadership.  They will produce metrics for plans and schedules for moderately complex projects, programs, and change activities across the lifecycle of a program. The ability to perform studies/analysis and planning efforts within and/or across programs/projects is also required. Once data, analytics, and reporting is in place the employee with support execution needs, maintain and uphold the portfolio of established mediums,  iterate and implement improvement as needed/requested, and collaborate with leadership/sponsors to maximize benefit.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.

  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.

  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.

  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

Work Authorization:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Renton, Washington location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in managing project schedules and managing programs and projects

  • 3+ years of experience working with databases, data collection and preparation, and data interpretation

  • 3+ years of experience performing in a finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, business support services, program management, project management or business operations role

  • 3+ years of experience in using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience using Integrated Scheduling tools

  • Experience with program oversight, project management tools & metrics reporting

  • Experience working on airplane programs or supporting the production system.

  • Project Management Certificate or Training

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

$101,150 - $136,850
