The Boeing Company is seeking a Safety & Airworthiness SupportSpecialist to join the International Type Validation Team within the Regulatory Administration and Airworthiness organization in Renton, WA.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate (Level 2) or Experienced (Level 3) Airworthiness & Regulatory SupportSpecialists.

This key role will support the compliance of International Type Validation for production programs.  As a crucial member of this team, you will collaborate with the Federal Aviation Administration and regulators worldwide to validate Boeing Commercial aircraft. This position offers a chance to make a significant global impact and contribute to Boeing's extensive international presence. You will be responsible for coordinating with global regulators, addressing technical challenges related to Type Validation, and preparing technical applications for regulatory authorities. This role provides excellent opportunities for professional growth and development, allowing you to tackle high-impact challenges and gain valuable knowledge in international validation.

A successful candidate should be prepared to travel internationally up to 10% of the time for meetings with regulatory authorities.  Additionally, the selected will work split time between Renton, WA and Everett, WA This role will also benefit from prior certification experience, as well as experience in the development and execution of project and process planning, and in the implementation of policies and procedures.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Facilitate meetings internally as well as between Boeing and various regulators
  • Supports logistics for familiarization meetings such as travel arrangements and catering
  • Support data management requests and metrics development
  • Help manage team group mailbox
  • Manage and update letter templates
  • Manage the team SharePoint
  • Manage the team server
  • Compiles materials and data from several sources in support of technical briefings, reviews, and correspondence.
  • Author regulator letters to confirm airplane registration using standard templates

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Level 2: 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Level 3: 6+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data
  • Experience in a role that required excellent communication, project management, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Experience in FAA certification or airworthiness

Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners

Summary Pay Range:

  • Associate (Level 2): $75,650 - $102,350
  • Experienced (Level 3): $92,650 - $125,350
