Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Analytics team in Renton, Washington on First Shift.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) information models, dashboards, metrics and reports that align with business objectives

  • Develop efficient, scalable BI solutions using standard technologies, methodologies and best practices

  • Write, optimize and review SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and reporting

  • Combine programming (e.g., Python, R, or relevant scripting languages) with BI tools to automate data pipelines and reporting processes

  • Acquire, clean, transform and validate data from multiple source systems to ensure accuracy and reliability

  • Apply descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics techniques to extract insights and recommend actions

  • Create clear, actionable visualizations and reports to support business decision-making

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, finance, operations, etc.) to gather requirements and deliver data solutions

  • Manage intake requests, prioritize work, and scope analytics projects with stakeholders

  • Perform root cause analysis on data and metric discrepancies and implement corrective actions

  • Ensure data governance, documentation and reproducibility of analytics models and data pipelines

  • Present findings, recommendations and technical approaches to senior leadership and stakeholders with strong, commanding communication

  • Mentor junior analysts, review peer work and promote analytics best practices across the organization

  • Monitor performance of analytics solutions and iterate to improve accuracy, efficiency and business impact

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

  • 5+ years of experience in SQL Server development

  • 5+ years of experience in Tableau or similar backend tools

  • Experience in managing technical projects through agile processes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience with Boeing Manufacturing Process

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or IBM Cognos

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business strategy and operational needs into measurable analytics requirements

  • Proven experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align priorities, integrate data sources, and jointly deliver analytics solutions that address business needs

Summary Pay Range:

$102,850 - $139,150 (USD)
