The Boeing Company’s Human Resources (HR) Business Architecture Team is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Architect to join our HR Services team. This position can be based in any of the following Boeing sites: Everett, WA; Seattle, WA; Renton, WA; Mesa, AZ; Hazelwood, MO; North Charleston, SC; or Chicago, Il.

In this role you will be integral in developing a model-based view of the HR function using established Business Architecture and Business Process Management principles. You will collaborate with stakeholders across HR and IT to deliver scalable, innovative technology solutions that enable world-class HR services.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Own the business process architecture for all HR-related processes, systems, and integrations in line with enterprise standards, maintain HR Business Architecture artifacts and repositories.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Process Owners and IT partners to assess change impacts and define technology solutions.
  • Research and recommend industry best practices for solving complex business and technology problems.
  • Perform impact analysis on portfolio work requests, including cross-functional process, system, integration, security, and stakeholder implications.
  • Partner with IT architecture teams (Workday and non-Workday) on application and integration design.
  • Facilitate solution alternative analysis for business needs.
  • Review and approve technical architecture designs with IT Architects.
  • Evaluate business opportunities and risks, including intangible benefits, through effective process design and management.
  • Maintain traceability of HR requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide work estimates (ROMs) and cost-benefit analyses for proposed tasks.
  • Act as a liaison to resolve business requirements between stakeholders and IT.
  • Manage HR process inventory and architecture models.
  • Design and document end-to-end business process models with clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability to improve service delivery and employee experience.
  • Align business capabilities using the One Boeing Capability Map (OBCM) to support strategic imperatives.
  • Conduct reviews, assessments, and audits of business process architecture documentation.
  • Define business capabilities, value streams, information models, and organizational structures to support IT solution design.
  • Promote open communication and data-driven decision-making across teams.
  • Represent HR in enterprise technology forums and global privacy reviews.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives with architectural components.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; and developing conclusions
  • 3+ years of experience working with business architecture modeling tools
  • 3+ years of experience developing and integrating technical & non-technical content, and utilizing appropriate technologies to facilitate
  • 3+ years of experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing Workday and/or ServiceNow

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Business Architecture Certification
  • Experience working with strategic planning processes

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $102,850 - $161,250
