The Boeing Company’s Human Resources (HR) organization is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Boeing Commercial airplane programs, specifically the exciting 737 Program located in Renton, Washington.

The position will play a key role in supporting the success of Boeing’s business and the HR function’s objective to provide world class HR service and employee experience.  This role will be essential in driving HR initiatives that align with our business objectives while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

The team of 737 Program HR professionals will work closely with other key groups in the Human Resources organization, HR Centers of Excellence (COE’s) and HR Services groups to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business, the employees and managers. The team will be responsible for delivering HR products and services engaging with employees and managers in person to improve the employee experience.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with manufacturing leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and enhance operational efficiency.  Employee populations include: production and maintenance (union), executives, managers, and non-union workforces
  • Provide expert guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning
  • Collaborate with the Labor Relations team to address employee concerns
  • Assist in communicating labor relations policies and practices to ensure understanding and compliance among employees
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, retention, and morale within the manufacturing teams
  • Conduct regular assessments of employee satisfaction and recommend improvements based on feedback
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and company policies related to employee relations and workplace safety
  • Collaborate on training initiatives for all employees to enhance skills and promote professional development
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for executive level meetings to effectively communicate HR strategies and initiatives
  • Support the implementation of performance management processes to drive accountability and continuous improvement
  • Utilizes HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided
  • Mentor junior team members

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, Compensation, Benefits and/or Employee Relations
  • 5+ years of experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
  • 1+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business or Human Resource Management, Organization Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or related field
  • Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
  • Working experience with HRIS platforms and technology, with preferred application
  • Experience with Workday
  • HR experience working in aerospace or defense and/or union environment
  • Experience navigating a matrixed organization
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $127,500 - $172,500
