The Boeing Company is currently seeking a SeniorSalesforce Solution Architect to join the team in Seattle, WA or Renton, WA

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the design, delivery, and governance of our enterprise Salesforce platform. You will define target architecture, drive secure integrations, enable DevSecOps practices, and lead cross functional teams to deliver high value, compliant CRM solutions across programs and business units.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the Salesforce architecture - org strategy, data model, packaging, integration topology, identity/security patterns

  • Translate business goals into scalable technical designs, architecture decision records, interface control documents (ICDs), and implementation plans

  • Architect, govern, and approve integrations between Salesforce and external systems - ERP/PLM/MDM/Analytics/IDP using API, event driven, and middleware patterns - MuleSoft/Anypoint

  • Lead DevSecOps and packaging strategy: source driven development (SFDX), unlocked/2GP packages, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and static/security scanning

  • Define non functional requirements (performance, availability, SLOs), conduct capacity/timing analyses, and drive performance tuning and scalability improvements

  • Own security and compliance by design: Shield, platform encryption, threat modeling, access controls - SSO/SAML/OAuth/SCIM, and audit evidence for governance

  • Lead data modeling, data migration, and LDV strategies (Big Objects, External Objects, Heroku Connect) and ensure data quality/lineage with Data Governance

  • Serve as technical lead for development teams: provide design reviews, mentor engineers and admins, conduct code/config reviews, and enforce architecture standards

  • Evaluate AppExchange/vendors, define acceptance criteria, and manage vendor technical assessments and onboarding

  • Represent the Salesforce platform in architecture boards, cross functional forums, and executive reviews; produce measurable KPIs and regular status reporting

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

  • 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership or management role

  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce administrations (enterprise environments) with Service Cloud focus

  • 5+ years of experience with Web Service integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)

  • 5+ years of experience leading server technology, infrastructure and services projects (server hardware, operating systems, virtualization, middleware, and cloud enabling software.)

  • 5+ years of experience with Development Operations (DevOps) and/or Development Security Operations (DevSecOps)

  • 5+ years of experience in program or portfolio management with enterprise-scale data migrations or modernizations

  • 5+ years of experience designing architecture with industry standard security technologies and solutions (e.g. encryption (PGP), certificates (x509), MFA/2FA, and SAML/SSO/IDaaS.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

  • Salesforce Architect certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, or CTA)

  • MuleSoft or other middleware certifications

  • Experience in team leadership and stakeholder influence

  • Experience with enterprise data platforms, MDM/MDP (Data 360, Informatica), or CDP integrations

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $153,000 – $207,000
