Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Software Development Project Manager to support the Sales Initiatives & Analytics team based out of Renton, Washington.

The Project Manager will lead the development and delivery of a strategic application that will support data-driven decision making for senior leadership; this mid-level role will be responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, deployment, and user adoption.

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience coordinating cross-functional teams, managing complex software and data integration projects, and driving alignment between technical solutions and business objectives. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to foster collaboration and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of application development and data integration initiatives
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, and schedules
  • Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, user story development, and solution design sessions
  • Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; develop and implement mitigation strategies
  • Track and report on project progress, milestones, and deliverables to senior leadership
  • Oversee change management, training, and user adoption activities
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven team environment focused on continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading software development projects
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing project management tools and methods
  • 3+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills
  • 1+ years of experience leading a cross-functional team
  • Experience working in a fast-paced scaled Agile software development environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing projects involving enterprise data architecture, database technologies, or back-end development
  • Experience delivering applications for business intelligence, analytics, or decision support
  • Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certification
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $105,000 - $120,000
