The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Finance and Program Management Information Technology Manager to join the team in Ridley Park, PA; Hazelwood, MO; or Renton, WA

This position will report directly to the Executive Director of Finance and Program Management IT Systems. In this role, you will lead a dynamic team of Information Technology (IT) professionals in delivering enterprise-wide finance and project management system initiatives. You will spearhead the delivery of technology solutions that support Boeing’s IT transformation journey, improve operational efficiency, drive business performance and increase compliance across the organization.

You will oversee end-to-end project execution, align IT strategies with business goals, and foster collaboration across global teams to ensure seamless implementation of enterprise systems. Position Responsibilities:

  • Own the overall delivery and governance of the Finance & Program Management project portfolio ensuring strategic alignment, proper investment prioritization, and alignment with senior business stakeholders

  • Lead team of IT professionals in the delivery of projects within the portfolio that result measurable value to Boeing businesses and IT organizations

  • Support business case development with a particular focus on business value and outcomes of portfolio and project delivery

  • Utilize rigorous and agile portfolio and project management methodology to keep multiple projects on track and clear blockers, resulting in projects delivered on-time and on-budget, including the use of project timelines, budgeting estimates, and status reports

  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and coordinate appropriate escalations

  • Ensure cross-workstream dependencies are coordinated and visible

  • Lead appropriate communication, escalation, and reporting to ensure alignment and progress across teams and stakeholders

  • Provide leadership and direction as a senior member of the F&PM IT leadership team and be accountable for achievement of your team’s critical success factors, performance measures, goals, and objectives

  • Manage key business stakeholders by building strong relationships, managing prioritization, and strong negotiations, ultimately building trust

  • Govern vendor relationships, establishing and maintaining partnerships that align with our strategic objectives and drive value for the organization

  • Build and maintain expertise in systems architecture and business processes supporting both Finance and Program Management businesses

Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience with Information Technology Program or Project Management

  • 5+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

  • 5+ years of experience with software development lifecycles

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements

  • 5+ years of experience owning and driving technology roadmap and strategy related to a product user

  • 5+ years of experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field

  • Project management certification (e.g. PMP, CMP, etc.)

  • Experience with large scale project management

  • Experience governing and managing IT Service Providers

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $140,250 – $203,550
