Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Systems Engineer (Entry-Level & Associate) to join our Support Equipment organization located in Ridley Park, PA

This position is responsible for performing requirements analysis and analyzing proposed solutions for maintainability and affordability over the lifecycle of the product.  In addition, the candidate will maintain configuration control of a Master Support Equipment List for the Chinook and will review and respond to technical inquiries that come in from external stakeholders.  This position is also responsible for developing Statement of Work (SOW) to satisfy ongoing and new business requirements.  This individual will oversee and manage our internal processes to include Quality Management (SIPOC) and Rotorcraft Business Writings.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, decompose, and write Support Equipment requirements for multiple platforms
  • Investigate, analyze, and provide recommendations for Support Equipment solutions, ensuring the item matches or exceeds requirements and is appropriate for customer unique configurations
  • Develop estimates for Support Equipment to include new designs, customer single item approvals, modification program impacts, major sales campaigns, etc.
  • Support customer/program meetings and proposal negotiations as required
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure program success and the growth of the business
  • Organize and prioritize efforts across multiple programs.
  • Ability to travel domestically/internationally as required (< 15%)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 1 or more years’ related work Engineering experience
  • Experience in a role that required excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Experience in a role that required organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Level 2)
  • Experience with the use of Support Equipment and/or Tooling
  • Practical, hands-on maintenance experience and aptitude
  • Experience in developing estimates, generating a Bill of Material (BOM)
  • Ability to independently perform engineering requirements tasks within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Experience with requirements analysis, decomposition, and writing for systems specifications, SOWs, and Supplier Statement of Work (SSOWs)
  • Ability to organize, manipulate, and maintain configuration control of large amounts of data
  • Familiarity with CATIA
  • Ability to interrogate 3D models and read 2D drawings

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range Entry-Level (Level 1): $73,100- $98,900

Summary Pay Range Associate (Level 2): $87,550- $118,450
