Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to join our dynamic team in Saint Charles, Missouri.

Precision Engagement Systems (PES, formally Weapons), within BDS’s Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems division is seeking to hire a Program Management Specialist (Level 4). The selected candidate will serve as a part of the Program Office supporting the PES Organization.

Key areas of responsibility include managing and driving integration across production and development programs.

Skills required for this position include an understanding of project management and should be able to demonstrate the ability to work across functions having strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop key metrics to track progress across the organization and provide status briefings to PES Leadership.
  • Work with Business Transformation on design and implementation of PES Dashboard to help with cross functional collaboration.
  • Ad-hoc CAM support for PES Programs
  • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on enhancing execution
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Facilities and Finance to drive integration, continuous improvement, and efficiencies through the lifecycle of multiple program platforms.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.
  • Support Employee Engagement Activities
  • Manage, develop, and motivate employees to combine the team’s energy and expertise to achieve a common objective and attain higher levels of performance.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 5 years of experience do you have managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with critical business and financial acumen including risk, issue, and opportunity management to drive performance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 10 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external) and government customers and representatives
  • More than 5 years of experience leading cross functional teams

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $107,950 - $133,350
